The reason it wouldnt really work is because Tyria doesnt have "faction points" (i.e, Kuzack, Luxon, Sunpear, Lightbringer) which you can earn!
The skills which were added to factions and nightfall obviously work with them, and work towards how much faction u have!
And I dont see Anet adding something as big as faction points to Tyria!

Eh, maybe PvE Tyrian skills based off the Protector of Tyria title track...but the 5 Glint quests seem like a good idea. I might actually do them then. =)
Oh please Gaile at least ask the devs about this idea. =D.

Yes its nice and all, but the Shining blade suck every which way to Sunday. Theyre also extremely ignorant, and they wear tights.
Fact not oppinion~ White Mantle > Shining Blade.

Why do they even need to be based on a title ?
I say tie them to an attribute line instead, since there aren't any complaints about that.

Rurik-skills. We all love that cheezy prince.
"You cannot save me"
Shout. You loose all health and all party members are healed for 100-300% of the amount of health you lost.
""This is a fight we cannot win"
Skill. All party members shadow step out of aggro range.
etc etc.. Frankly, I thought of Tyrian skills too, but unlike Factions and Nightfall, Prophecies is an extremely well designed game, there are no superpowered mobs or areas (perhaps Icedome is an exception.) I don't see the need for them, and besides, I'd rather have Anet focusing on making GW:EN as solid as Prophecies.
Prophecies makes me happy. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

PvE Skills should be based on Protector Titles because...
THEY ARE PVE SKILLS, PROTECTOR IS A PVE TITLE (Friend of the Lux/Kurz isn't nessisarily a PvE title, though Sunspear is). Not every mission is Super Easy (heros have made them relitivly easy).
At least make Tyrian PvE skills based on the Protector title - that takes a while to get people. :S
/le sigh
Also, Anet, give PvE skills a different border color, similar to elites. Totally.

Tyria gets kinda boned with a lot of updates.
However, I'd rather have it the way it is now than into another Elona

It's not misleading. You interpreted it wrong.
On a more to-the-point note, the completion of the Titan Quests would be a decent follow-up to Tyrian PvE skills.

EotN, or GW:EN as every else calls it, isnt just located in Tyria(prophercies)! It accessed from and spans all 3 campaigns.
Its an expansion for all 3 campaigns!
How they will access it from each seperate campaign I have no idea, but because its all underground in caves and dungeons, it means it cant just be contained underneath prophercies.
So to say that adding sunspear skills to GW:EN is like adding them to prophercies is incorrect, because GW:EN expands upon all 3 campaigns and isnt localised to any of them.

I have trouble taking your posts seriously, I can't stop staring at that Berries n' Cream lad. But on topic, more skills is a good thing in my book, so I say bring 'em on.
